About us
CSS originated in Madrid in partnership with professionals, parents and churches with a broad vision for helping reach Spain for Christ through the tool of Christian education. CSS is committed to offering a rigorous Christian educational alternative that will prepare today’s Spanish youth to become leaders in a rapidly changing world.
VISION 20/20
Establish 20 high-impact Christ-centered schools in 20 years throughout Spain.
MISSION
Establish a network of Christ-centered International schools across Spain, which equip and inspire students academically, spiritually and socially, empowering them to become persons of influence in their families, churches, communities and society.
PURPOSE
To help students grow in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man.
Our Story
The vision for starting Christian schools in Spain was birthed in the heart of Scot Musser in the fall of 2006.
While at an educational conference in Budapest he heard a member of the Romanian Parliament address the delegates and give public recognition and thanks to the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) for their role in helping develop Christian schools in Romania, and the impact that the ACSI schools were having in the lives of their youth. Immediately the question burned in his heart, “Why not Spain?”.
He returned to Spain with a growing desire to see Christ-centered, accredited schools started for Spaniards.
Through much prayer and counsel, it became clear over the next years that God was directing Mr. Musser to devote full-time energy towards that cause. Therefore, in 2012 he resigned his position at ECA (Evangelical Christian Academy) where he was the Headmaster and began his doctoral studies in education. He set his sights on developing a self-sustainable, reproducible, culturally relevant model of Christian schools for Spaniards.
In 2015, CSS was founded as the legal entity through which the vision and mission could be carried out.
The first CSS project is LIFE International School that opened its doors on September 2017
